Sakura Matsuri April 30

Sakura Matsuri April 30 and May 1 Day 1

Well well the sakura trees have bloomed. YAY!
This year the flowers were still on the tree during the festival, and I was very happy about it. The last time i went to the Cherry Blossom Festival was in 2008. I wasnﾕt so sure if i would go this year but Im glad I went. I really enjoyed myself at the event.



Saturday I went with my friend and both of use carried our dolls with use to the garden. I had made 3 new outfits for them just for the occasion. My friends doll, Raven was wearing a Hanfu outfit and my two guys were wearing a Onmijogi and a regular hakama kimono outfit. Needless to say when we had them out we received allot of positive comments. Im sure we made a few husbands and boyfriends pockets empty in the future. Back to the point! So we had our dolls out to take some scenery picture which we didnﾕt get much off to many people walking around.

Later on the day we ended up meeting with Ninastar. For those who doesnﾕt know NinaStar she is one of many NYC Gyaru.


So yeah we met up with her hung out with here for awhile and even met some other Gyaru. They seemed very fun to hang with, after that encounter we walked around some more watch a Yosakoi Dance performance eat some onigiri and ice cream and headed our way home. That was all for Saturday

Springfest at Polytech.

So today is such a great day for a mini convention here in Brooklyn. Me, my sister and a friend of mine Nina Star are heading out to Polytech institute in Brooklyn for there mini convention Spring fest. Now it's been years since i last attended such an event at the school. Last time i went was in 2006 or 2007. Anyways It was fun we watch some Anime's, there was music performances, Game room and I even entered a screaming competition an won. yay!

Anyway so we are at Spring fest 2011 and i must say it has really grow into something i mean last time i went you can literally count how many people attended but from what i have seen this year there were allot of people. I was really impress by that. It maid me realize how much anime has influence today's youth in America. Other than that i realy don't have anything else to say.


We didn't stay long because we were planing to go to the doll meet which didn't happen because we ended up having car trouble.
