Meeting a Friend

Didn’t do much of anything today just spend most of the time home didn’t go out till late to meet up with a friend that came from Japan just to do a job here. Its the first time we have met face to face and it’s the first time he’s bee here in New York City. His stay was really sort cause he just came here to NY for a job. He had to leave the day following day he was really sad about that. The time we spent together was nice we went to karaoke and had korean food. For me that was the first eating korean food it was really good and allot of food. We really didn’t do much it’s was freezing outsize and it was really late he was so tired. Anyway we had or fun we said our good-byes and we will each other again around june maybe.

15: Heading to Palisade Mall.

I woke up early in the morning getting ready to go to Palisade mall.

This is the first time I'm going there. It's somewhere in upstate NY, I though it was in Jersey. Anyway The reason for heading out there was for another doll meeting my friend wanted to attend.

I don't really do well on long bus rides, I can’t stay in a bus for more than 2 hours.

To avoid vomiting in a bus it has to be well air conditioned. Cold air in a bus really helps me a lot, I don't get sick as fast and easily. We left Port authority like around 8:30 AM with the bus and arrived at the mall close to 10:50 AM. We were early for the meet which started at 12 PM.

So here we are at the mall with three of my friends who all own there own Dolls. Now I have been to malls before and I thought Kings plaza mall, Queens malls and even Manhattan mall was big. I take that back! Pallisade mall! I have never ever seen such a huge mall before, I mean it was as big or even bigger then Jacob Javits Center, and it even have like 4 or 5 floors. It had every thing in there from food, to a bowling alley, a carousel , skating ring, movie theater, to many clothing stores, shoes and accessories shop. I was like "wow" . So 12 PM comes, we walk around and finally meet up with the other BJD collectors.

I saw some familiar faces, met some new people and had fun. We stayed until 5 PM and waited for our bus back to the city. On the way back home I got a message from a friend, he's from japan and currently visiting NYC. I briefly met him at Port Authority and then headed back home.

14: My Last Meet

Today will me my last Doll meet. Meaning i won’t be in charge of it anymore and i’m very happy about it. I am handing it over back to the Original person Who was in charge of the sunday meet before. He had moved out from NYC to Oklahoma But returned back to NYC. I know it’s for me to say but now i don’t have to leave so early anymore. Ill still will attend some of the sunday meet’s just not every month. This is like the second doll meet for the month. Plus my friend want's to go to another meet at the Pallisade mall I really wasn't sure if ill go with her. So that will make it a total of 3 doll meets for this month.

After today’s meet it was a very sunny but cold day so we headed to Central Park to take pictures of our dolls. That was basically it for today.
